Bill Maher Mocks Glenn Beck's religion

On this past weekend's episode of Real Time with Bill Maher, Bill brought up a quote from Glenn Beck's wife where she discussed how they became Mormons...they picked it. Bill found this ridiculous since a believe in God should be something that has great meaning not something you pick out of a hat. While this blogger is not privy to the method that lead to Mormonism as the choice, it does strike me as odd for a guy who seems passionate about his religion to pick it like it was a toaster oven. Playing devils advocate, I wondered how Bill would have felt if the Becks had chosen Atheism. Would Maher still find the process of pulling Atheism from a hat as odd or would he find a way to applaud it? I for one, think the world would be a better place if Glenn Beck were an Atheist.
