Jay Cutler, Mike Martz, and the Bears O-line are aiming high.

Based on the preseason stats the Bears were in line to challenge a long standing NFL record by allowing 144 sacks this season. Unfortunately they have been a huge disappointment allowing only 18 sacks in 4 games which puts them on pace for only 72 sacks allowed. At this pace they won't even crack the top 3 of all time. The good news is after the Giants game they again lead the league in sacks allowed, but the bad news is Todd Collins doesn't have the same commitment as Jay Cutler to achieving greatness and if Cutler misses any time, all could be lost. I'm hoping the team can regain the early success they showed in the preseason and rededicate themselves to setting the record.

On a positive note Chris Johnson is well on his way to 2,500 yards, and at his current pace he should top his goal in week 28 of the NFL season.
